How To Download Windows 10 ISO Image File Without Media Creation Tool To Make A Bootable USB / Burn To DVD

Today’s tutorial is on how to download Windows 10 ISO image from the official website of Microsoft to make a bootable USB or an installation DVD to install or clean install Windows 10. I divided this tutorial into three parts and will cover download ISO image, Media creation tool use, making bootable USB flash drive in three parts. I urge you to watch it till the end.

A fresh or clean install Windows 10 is the ultimate option when all other available options fail to make a Windows computer perform as faster, better and free of errors as It should be. If Your machine has good system resources But Your PC is slow because of virus, malware, spyware and other errors then You can make your sluggish computer or laptop run like new by doing clean install Windows,

As you might know, We need to have a Windows 10 installation DVD or bootable USB flash drive to install or clean install Windows 10 or any of other Windows versions. If you don’t have both things then You can download the ISO image of Windows 10 to make an installation DVD or bootable USB flash drive by yourself.

Before We proceed any further, I highly suggest you not to download the ISO image from torrent and shity websites offering pirated stuff. The ISO image file may contain virus, malware, spyware etc, you download from these websites.

Microsoft offers two options to download Windows 10 installation files. You can either use Windows 10 media creation tool or simply download the ISO image file of Windows 10. Although both options are convenient, But there are a few differences between both of them.

For example, If you go for Windows 10 media creation tool, then You need 16 GB of free disk space in Drive C and on top of that you can’t change the download location. the good thing in Windows 10 media creation tool is that It does not require a separate USB creator to make a bootable USB. Windows 10 media creation tool can make a bootable USB If you want to.

If you mere want to download the ISO image then you need to install a third party USB maker and opposite of Windows 10 media creation tool, You need 4 GB of free disk space as well as You can change the download location. Hopefully I’ve managed to explain the differences between both of download options to you. Let’s start off with simply downloading the ISO image file of Windows 10 to make a bootable USB or burn a DVD disc to install or clean install Windows 10.

Here is the official Windows 10 download page by Microsoft to download Windows 10 ISO image files.

Select Windows edition you bought or upgraded to. Since I upgraded to Windows Pro edition Therefore, I’m going to select Windows 10 option from drop down menu that contains both Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro.

After having selected accurate Windows 10 edition, Click confirm.

Choose your preferred language and click confirm.

If your PC is a 32 bit machine then download 32 bit version and You need to download 64 bit ISO image If you are using a 64 bit PC. To find out system type,

Click start menu button and type system information in search box  and hit enter.

As you can see I’m using a 64 bit PC that is why I will be downloading 64 bit ISO image.

Congratulation, Download is now complete. Now you’re all set to create a bootable USB or burn Windows ISO image to a bootable DVD.
