The process is pretty simple, download Windows 10 ISO image file using Windows 10 media creation tool and install Windows 10, You may use Windows 10 DVD too. Please keep in mind, Install any Windows 10 edition according to Windows 7 or Windows 8 edition. For an example, Install Windows 10 Home If you have Windows 7 Home product key, otherwise It will not work.
When you are asked during Windows installation, Type in your Windows 7 or Windows 8 product key and click next. But I am doing after Windows 10 clean install and will show you how to activate Windows 10 after clean install with Windows 8 or Windows 7 product key.
Click on start menu and go to settings.
Click Windows isn’t activated, Activate Windows now.
Click change product key.
Click yes.
Type in or copy paste the product key and wait until Windows completes the activation process.
