Thanks for watching my previous tutorial about How to install and use Cyberghost to unblock a blocked website, protect online privacy by altering the real IP address etc.? In today’s video review about Cyberghost, I will describe what I found good and bad in this one of the best VPN services while using Cyberghost As I promised in my previous video tutorial.

Let me start Cyberghost review and let’s have a quick look on pricing and packages. offers 3 packages. Free with some limitations, Premium per month 6.99 $ and Premium Plus per month 10.99 $. Premium can be used on mere one device while Premium Plus can be used on up to 5 devices simultaneously. Apart from free one, other packages offered by Cyberghost VPN dot com are quite expensive than its rivals as Hotspot shield and Spotflux offer their premium packages respectively at $4.99 for one month and $29.95 for per year.

I had heard of about ads in Cyberghost VPN free package. As I always experience ads while using Hotspot Shield and Spotflux. Most of the time I use Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox and I did not see any type of advertisements while testing Cyberghost VPN free package. But you may see harmless promotion ads by Cyber ghost VPN dot com inside Cyberghost client. I think This goodness of this service should be praised.

If you have a PC containing less than 2 GB of RAM, then you are out of luck. You can use it, But as per my personal experience, Cyberghost doesn’t work very well, If your PC has less ┬áthan 2 GB of RAM. Especially when you turn on your PC and Windows loads its components, It takes too long to load. You are also out of luck if you use Microsoft Internet Explorer. You will face several compatibility issues while using Cyberghost with Internet Explorer. But these can be fixed .

You can easily download Cyberghost client from the official website, but installing it may be a pain in the neck. You need to install Microsoft Framework dot net 3 or higher version before installing Cyberghost client. If you don’t have it, then forget about using Cyberghost VPN. You would agree with me that Downloading Microsoft Framework dot net is not less than a headache especially if you use a slow internet connection. But there is solution to quickly download and install Microsoft Framework dot net. Download its offline installer and forget all worries. You can find the download link in the description.

You can download Microsoft .Net Framework 4.5.2 from here

As far as interface of CyberGhost is concerned, Its interface is indeed very elegant and easy to use as well. But on the other hand, I am not able to say that Cyberghost is a lightweight piece of software on system resources. It consumes a high amount of system resources. But I liked its user friendly interface that is truly easy to use for both experienced and novice users a like. There is nothing you need to discover. Everything is placed in very good manner.

After activating Premium package, I found out there is no difference between free and paid packages in terms of speed except number of available servers. Cyberghost free is a very unpredictable thing when it comes to available servers. There is a bad thing I came to know while testing free package, I got this message ” Sorry All free slots are booked now” and I had to wait for 30 seconds to connect to my desired server to unblock YouTube.

There is a bad news, If you are fond of downloading videos, images, software and other stuff via torrents. While testing it, Cyberghost stopped uTorrent to download torrents in both free and premium subscriptions. Initially I thought reason is my internet connection, But when I turned it off, uTorrent again started to download my desired content. Cyberghost entirely disappointed me in this regard. I don’t know if there is a solution for this issue.

I tested CyberGhost on YouTube, DailyMotion, Facebook and video sharing websites to watch and download videos and It did work very well in both free and premium subscriptions. Cyberghost successfully managed to encrypt online traffic.

Cyberghost is available for Microsoft Windows, Mac, Android, Apple iOS and even for Linux users. As Hotspot Shield and Spotflux don’t offer their services for linux users.

In short,

Cyberghost comes with a great speed in both free and premium subscriptions.

Microsoft Windows, Mac, Android, Apple iOS and Linux users can use Cyberghost.

I found Cyberghost slightly difficult to install.

Cyberghost has an easy to use, user friendly and elegant interface.

Cyberghost consumes huge amount of system resources. You need to have more than 2 GB of RAM to avoid to face sluggish speed and performance issues.

If you want to download torrents, then do not use Cyberghost while downloading torrents.

Cyberghost is expensive than other VPN services.
